Originally from the Republic of Ireland and now living near Indianapolis, Derek Daly raced professionally for 17 years at the highest level of the sport. His first championship was winning the notoriously competitive British Formula 3 championship. Over the years Daly made nearly 50 Formula 1 starts, eneterd 66 Champ car races, and in the two times he competed in the 12 Hours of Sebring he won.
Today Daly is known in motorsports circles around the world as a writer, broadcaster, racing coach and advisor and savvy businessman. In addition to being a well-regarded public speaker and TV announcer, Daly runs a professional services company called MotorVation. |
